Mourinho barely changed the squad, he just bought a few players and kept most of the previous squad. At some point it stops being solely the manager's fault and it becomes the players'.

He had both time and money to change thar. Spent 200M almost. It is not the coach entirely fault true but he made mistakes and hasnt made a single step forward yet. Just pouring money and expecting to get something, the whole club is spoiled. Players coach and the board/owner. They need a complete philosophical change. On the pitch and off the pitch. Sign a new talented coach spend wisely, regain their identity. Things will fall into place they are fucking manchester united. They will become liverpool if they continue with this.
