With Cillessen reported being close to a move to Benfica, according to RAC1, the Club is very interested in getting João Ferreira included into any deal with Cillessen. Gerard Romero reports with Wague likely being promoted to the first team and Mateu Morey telling the club he won't extend his contract, the Club wants Ferrera as a replacement for both players for the B team.

Wague deserves to be promoted, we also have Emerson, who will probably stay on loan at Betis for the time being, not to mention Semedo must start getting regular minutes to really start making leaps in his development, if we ever want him to get to a world class level. As for Benfica, use their interest in Jasper to get a line on Grimaldo instead.

We have Miranda and Cucu for LB too, and IIRC we also have some highly rated LB in Juvenil B.
Joao is just a talent we want to steal to replace Morey who is leaving. Both are same age too.

Which I find kinda odd that we are chasing young RB prospects yet we seem to be not to be having any luck in securing more LB prospects.

Not that I'm against finding and buying RB prospects but I'm sure there are some good LB prospects out there we can get to go along with the likes of Miranda and Cucu(Assuming he doesn't get sold).

But if he is more than 5-10m, better to save the money for attack or midfield or even for left back

From the little I've read on the Benfica forums.

One guy doesn't want him to leave, a couple feels Tomás Tavares is a better prospect and a couple of other guys feel indifferent about him. In general, though it seems Portugal do have a pretty solid selection of Fullbacks coming through.
