Roberto stayed back a lot more than Alba did though so it balanced it out.

Alba was like a winger for most of the game when Barca had ball. Roberto wasnt.

It didn`t balance out because Rakitic is too slow to defend against quick and agile fullbacks. It should be a quick winger on that flank to protect it.

It balanced out the numbers defending and Rakitic was not left exposed to more men than should have been due to Paco/Gomes on the right.
