Reports now he's close to PSG.

Probably just his club trying to generate interest and get the best deal.

Would actually make more sense him going there than to Chelsea as would have easier path to first team minutes.

Either way I think he's a lost case for us. We can't compete with PSG's and Chelsea's of this world right now unless the player really wants to come here and rejects all other offers (like Roque).

His buyout is 35m so unless he renews, his transfer fee is not going to get that crazy.

I think he will move this december though, so that all but rules us out.

Seems we will wait till summer and have another go with Zubimendi, who is actually having a very good season.

Gabriel Moscardo (18) had looked all set to join Paris Saint-Germain this month, however, a foot injury was flagged in his medical. The Brazilian’s arrival now looks set to be deferred, and in the meantime, another midfield recruit will be targeted in this transfer window, according to L’Équipe.

Moscardo arrived in Paris, alongside new signing Lucas Beraldo (20) on Friday. Whilst the latter successfully completed his medical and has been officially confirmed as a new signing by Les Parisiens, the former’s medical did not go to plan.

As Moscardo himself confirmed, an injury to his right foot was detected and surgery is required. He will undergo surgery in Doha and will likely be absent for around three months.

Whilst Moscardo’s move to PSG is not in doubt, it will nonetheless be deferred. He will likely arrive in the summer. In the meantime, PSG will dip back into the market for a midfielder, according to L’Équipe. The publication does not reveal any potential targets, however, The Telegraph have reported that Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips is a key target for Les Parisiens.
