By the way "golden" generation of 2002 of Alevin A won Powerade Cup. They beat Sevilla 4-2, Real Madrid 4-1 in the play offs and Villarreal 3-0 in the final. Pablo Moreno became top scorer (7 goals)

While Alevin C (2003) lost to Cornella 0-1 in the final, where they qualified by beating Espanyol 2-0.

Also Alevin A going to participate in the major youth tournament Torneo Internacional Alevín. All participant are big clubs and Barcelona managed to win this tournament for the first time last year.

I thought the golden generation was Infantil B?

It's a unique case where 2 golden generations are coming back to back. In La Masia the "golden" generations in recent history are assigned to 87, 91, 95, 98. But now we have two coming out one after another. In fact Gen 2002 so far is the most dominant La Masia team ever, they have destroyed big teams in Powerade Cup also won Fair Play Cup few weeks ago beating Valencia 4-0 in the final. Infantil B generaration 2001 became strong only last 2 years, but they've seen unprecedented success by winning Powerade Cup, MIC, Torneo Internacional Alevin de Arosa, though they lost in Torneo Nacional Alevin. So far 2002 is in the same track as previous 2001, but they are more dominant against their opponents.

There is a nice read about friendly match of Total Football Academy (TFA) vs Benjamin A (2002) that took place 2 years ago.
http://blog.3four3.com/2012/03/30/fc-barcelona-academy-trip-benjamin-a/
It's a youth football academy in USA that's practicing Barca way of play, same academy where Ben Lederman comes from. They've been successful and even became California State champions in every age category they've played. First time TFA came to Barcelona they played against and beat our Gen 2000 with 4-1 or something. Next year they played against Gen 2001, which ended draw. In fact TFA and our Alevin A (2001) met each other last year in MIC CUP. They drew 2-2 in the group stage, but in semifinal Alevin A edged them 3-2.
In this blog they are describing the game against Gen 2002, current Alevin A. You can see there that La Masia coaches describe them as the best crop of players in a long history of La Masia. And they have destroyed TFA with 7-0. If this Alevin A can repeat the success of the previous Alevin A, then we can say for sure that we had two best Alevin teams in the La Masia history.

It appears that our Alevin A (2002) is going to play against older opponents (2001). Could be too difficult to win.

Good job with your videos, Ronnie10!

It's the Infantil B that's playing Torneo de Arona, but most quality players left home due to tactical reasons (Take, Ansu, Eric, Nico, Arnau..). Ones to watch present on the tournament are Adrià Bernabé and Konrad. Lost their first match 2-3, tough against that physical striker from Sevilla called Bini who scored 3 goals.

Exactly. Kids want to be with their parents, travel all year long and need some rest. This team is extremely talented, one or more title doesn't make a difference to that. But back to the present. Will be a tough job to qualify for the knock-out stage. Adrià Bernabé needs to step up and guide his team. Play at 13:00 against Sociedad. Need a win.
