FC Barcelona Finances

Anyone know the gross debt of the club?

According to Swiss Ramble our total liabilities (the broadest possible definition of debt) are over €1.2 billion in 2019, the highest in the world, overtaking Manchester United.

It is hugely concerning since this figure doesn't include the 815m potentially needed to borrow to finance the Espai Barca project.

Can't wait to get rid of these absolute clowns who think if you don't sign 4-5 120m+ players you can't build a highly competitive football team.

Santos president Jose Carlos Peres says Barcelona tried to swindle them in a Rodrygo deal. Supposedly Barca still owe 10M for Neymar settlement for which there’s an ongoing case at FIFA and promised to pay 4.5M for a friendly, which never happened. When Santos took it to court, Barcelona wanted to play in March, but Santos couldn’t deliver on it since it’s Copa Libertadores. And Barca didn’t want to do it in January.
Then Barca offered 29M euros for Rodrygo saying they can’t pay more + wanted the debt to be scrapped. Which Santos took as an insult.

Lol @ the institutional relationships this club builds

I thought Santos refused to play the 2nd sheduled friendly, because they lost the first one 8:0 (?). Either way, our board are a bunch of conman without principles. Nothing to see here.

Neymar will probably already be 10 years retired when Santos will still demand money for him from Barca.

This guy has really brought nothing but problems to the club and yet there are still people who want him back.

He sounded chuffed to bits that Real came along and paid 54m for Rodrygo more than anything.... 25m more than Barca were willing to pay.

One forgotten thing about this:
The board has no problem with selling our soul, so we will get a new stadium name next year for sure.
"Something, something Camp Nou". This year a sponsor to make COVID-19-donation. Next year "Qatari Vacations Camp Nou" and we will earn 100M€ a year on that or something.
That is new income, which we haven't had before, and it could save us some economic backlash.
