KDB is a very good player in his own right, but he isn't on Hazard's wavelength, or on Hazard's level. He was very poor tonight, too. You're right though, they do have the potential to be a good team but the manager's tactics/team selection and some of the players lack of intelligence are preventing that from happening.

KDB was pretty disappointing this time, but Hazard is far from being good enough for Belgium to be disappointed by them. Before this EC an underwhelming Hazard was carried a lot by KDB and even Fellaini over the years.
I think that the team is alright actually, if you look at what Iceland or Wales can do with their team, then Belgium could also do a lot better with what they have if they just had a clue on how to play together.

Hazard never looks up. He just puts his head down and starts running. Coleman got his tactics spot on. He defended the center and just let Hazard run into his defenders.

Fantastic ability on the ball and good enough for someone to build a team around however he needs to learn to pass.
