The meltdown in here is beyond absurd.
We have all been asking for rotations -> We got them.
We have all been questioning the wisdom of chasing after yet another CdR -> Today we are not.
Some youngsters have been given a chance to show what they got -> We now have the answer.
Some extremely expensive players have not played all that much -> Today they started.
You people should decide what you want first, then criticize anyone.

They'll all get picked now next week to try and save the tie. At least if we played a stronger side tonight and got a result we could have rested players next week.
We could have won this tie without Messi for example with a coach who has a clue how to pick a side. Now he'll have to be GOAT net week to get us through.

Exactly. If reaching the CdR QFs is that important, we are one Malcom toe-poke away from getting a good result. If we get eliminated by Levante, then we can concentrate on the league (which we are leading) and on the CL that has eluded us after three unlucky and/or embarrassing QFs.

Semedo created all our chances in this first half. Someone wants to talk about offensive contribution ? Sergi Roberto should never be starting RB again.
Semedo needs to work on his final touch though.
Alena our best midfielder in this first half. Playing next to Vidal and Busquets. Alena is 100% Barça style player. Had some poor touches but with playing time and confidence, he'll be way more a key player than Rakitic and Vidal. He won't get playing time though and we'll loan him to some shitty Liga team at 23yo, then some will come and shout "told ya he wasn't Barça material".
Miranda is an awful player. Why the fuck did we loan Cucurella ? And why did we sell a potential world class player like Grimaldo ? Go ask this genius board.
Central defense is terrible. Genius Valverde can never play without 2 of Vidal/Raki/Busi but it's okay to throw in 2 amateur defenders who never played together in their life.
Dembélé needs to shoot quicker sometimes instead of looking for extra dribble/control. Coutinho looks bad on the wing, looks better when he receives the ball in a midfield position. But hey "coach knows better".

Typical Valverde! Either he sticks with same starting 11 or goes full retard with rotation.
The starting point of any decent team is having a system. Valverde has none. He just looks for the result and keeping senior players happy 😊.

We havent been as bad as the score suggests. An early conceeded goal is going to throw a makeshift lineup into disarray.
Miranda has been terrible though and Chumi not too far behind. The problem with Miranda is 100% mental. He is too nervous to perform the basics and not ready to be in the first team.
I would not give up on him but he probably needs LaLiga experience in a low level team then LaLiga experience in a mid level team first. So thats atleast 2 seasons before even being considered a first team squad option.
Valverde needs to steady the ship now. Bring SR on at LB or RB with Semedo going to LB. Bring Lenglet on for Chumi. I would do these at half time with Arthur replacing Alena closely following.

Forget the result, the result is not important in CdR. It's the lack of an actual team. It's just your 5 a side sunday game where everyone is doing their own thing without any sort of plan whatsoever. We just want to see some progresive pkay, some attacking patterns, some midfield triangles but what we see is utter chaos. That's why we are pissed off, not because we might lose the fecking cup this season.
The samr shit happens when the first team plays, only then you have the GOAT which on his own in Valverde whole attacking and creative system. We now see that he is not up to it if there's no Messi to bail him with passes, goal, dribbles you name it.
And when a team in CL will stiffle Messi, the other stooges ouy there won't know what hit them, as usual because this manager can't coach for shit. He can't coach attack, he can't coach midfield play, he can't coach defense. The guy is useless.
