Yeah Lucho indicated he wanted Bravo to stay. Clearly Bravo got offered a better salary and the promise to play both league and CL. Whatever, hope he enjoys the fish and chips. Good 2 la ligas and CWC with him in net!

According to md, the fee is 16m plus 2+2m. 2m for a number of games played, and the other is related to titles won. They also said he asked and insisted in being sold to city.

Thanks for the great performances. Arguably the best goalkeeping performer in barca history, but his short stay means he won't be as much of a legend as valdes

Uhm...This club have had other GK legends too apart from Valdes, you know that right?

Sure mate. Go back to Paris 2006 and Roma 2009. Never mind his contribution overall season-wise. Sure he was erratic at times and he did have some errors, but if he's not a Barça legend, then you either have a very narrow definition of 'legend' or just a very strange person to not acknowledge his performances.

It's not something new though. Seen it on other occasions too. People being annoyed over the way he left. Same with Pep and his other actions. It's allowed to be that, but if you're going to let that cloud your judgement then you're just being incredibly miserable. No doubt Valdes is a legend in my eyes at least.

It's pretty simple for Total-Football, Valdes did NOT run more than 8km per game, so, NOT a legend :coffee:

except that he was not erratic at times .. he was erratic too many times .. his medciocrity has cost us a couple of ligas .. he got better later after too many fuck ups .. he only played here for so long because of our cowardice , after Rusto's failure we chickened out and stopped looking for a real keeper who can elevates the team to higher levels .. Not to mention his huge salary and outragous Financial demands that were almost up there with players like inesta and Xavi .. Legends are missed when they leave .. how come both Bravo and Stegen made us forget about him almost immediately .. both distribute the ball as good as him ( arguibley better ) and both are good at actually stopping the balls from penetrating the net..

Having said that , he was ok ever all , he did have some moments of brilliance especially in Paris , a good keeper at best .. i save the word legend for players like : puyol , messi , xavi , iniesta .. otherwise the word legend would lose its magnitude

I remember VV saving so many 1-on-1's, that helped the team win many games. He's still the best gk we had, and a legend for sure.
