Don't see it happening but would like to give rest to Cancelo, Balde and Gavi who have played the most.

Probably Felix as well but we just don't have enough options upfront as I don't believe Xavi would start two kids like Yamal and Guiu.

MATS
Araujo - Christensen - Inigo - Alonso
Gundo - Romeu - Fermin
Yamal - Ferran - Felix

So expect similar lineup to last night with possibly Araujo replacing Christensen and Yamal starting ahead of Fermin.

Gavi is suspended.

Yes, totally forgot that. Probably good news to get some rest.

None of the injured players back to get minutes, which means none of them will start vs Madrid. Can see one or two of them being on the bench though. Only 4 days to go.

Re. Madrid match, yeah, it doesn't look good if none of the injured ones are on the list.

We'll need s miracle there.

Feeling increasingly optimistic. Who's gonna stop our wildcard Guiu. Fermin already showed he has balls to play Mandril. Gavi will be rested and ready to kill. Gumbau (sorry Romeu) will hunt down Modric and Kros. Araujo gonna pocket monkey (sorry Vinicius).

Yeah.

I expect and hope for a similar starting lineup. With Felix and Gundogan being replaced with some La-Masia kids as soon as the win is more or less secured. Balde and Cancelo both need a rest to be able to keep up with Vinicius' and Rodrygo's speed on Saturday. A shame that it seems no injured player will return for the clasico. But at least it's "only" an early league clasico and no knock out game.
