A lot of sites are predicting that Lyon will go 3 at the back. In that case, Dembele must play. No question about that.

I dont know whats the game plan, should valverde put them out to go for win, or to solve everything at nou camp. Thinking that they have 4 points from man city games in group stage is something that im not looking forward to, and recent win against psg at home is a reminder that they are not some 3rd tier club, that players should take them seriously, like full seriously. Id like me some tottenham away performance but we are right now far from that kind of performance, so one could only hope

Pace is necessary. Semedo, Alba and Dembele are a must.

A fit and primed Malcom for the last 30-35m would have been fantastic...

lol we aren't Real Madrid, getting beat by bum teams week in and week out is their job.

We're going to destroy these potato farmers.

Imagine believing we wont qualify past Lyon, lmao!

Well, right now im more scared of teams like lyon then big clubs. Im sure our players would be motivated against the likes of real, city, psg, juve, liverpool, bayern etc, but not quite sure about lyon. Like they are going to be in the mood 'conserve' the energy for 'bigger' fixture

Like we imagined believing we wouldn't qualify past Roma, even after winning the 1st leg 4-1? :bartomeu:

And nothing much has changed in that regard really, Valverde is still our manager, he's showing no sign of improving since last season, and we don't even have the this season's X factor that is Arthur, available to play. The only other X factor are Dembele, in whom Valverde has shown more trust this year so we might get to see him play more than 10 minutes after all, and an extra motivated Messi this year.

Under Valverde there's no easy opponent for us, especially not one that has beaten and draw against Man City this season.
