What a shit week for football.

2 overrated teams in the final. Just think Liverpool could and should have went in the group stages. They've had every bit of luck in this whole competition.

We got lucky too.
We faced terrible Manchester United and a weak french team.

The final will not necessarily be won by the best team, b.c one bad game will end you, but the teams that reached the final were the best overall.
Totenham eliminated both Ajax and Manchester city
Liverpool came back from a 3 goal disadvantage.

Liverpool could not even afford to rest players whereas we playing in a mickey mouse league rested almost our whole starting 11 and still got demolished.

Possible to have 2 English teams in CL final and Europa League final. Ridiculous.

Barcelona would be fighting fro top 4 spot in EPL and City and Pool would both get 110 points at least in LaLiga.

The less said about Serie A and Bundesliga, the better.

Hats off to both teams. They ran and fought like maniacs, attacked until the last second and played some beautiful football. I hope our bunch of overpaid cunts watched this and tried to remember when was the last time they played a game like this.
I`m sad Ajax got knocked out, but Tottenham deserved it too.

Barca don't have the players to do this.
We need younger players or we need to replace the fitness coach or we need to ditch Copa del Rey from the beginning, and prioritize CL over la liga if necessary.
Barca team plays too many games all season and you cannot not get affected by that, especially with an aging team like ours.

There is a difference though ,although might not be major

1) Liverpool team is younger
2) Barca has played more games than Liverpool


I believe we need to prioritize la liga and CL.
Screw trying to win three titles just to end up not winning the most important one.
Both Ajax and Barca were playing for three titles while Totenham was only playing for a position and Liverpool is only playing for two.

And if it comes time.to choose between la liga and champions next year, then we might have to prioritize CL; keeping in mind we might not win it and could end up empty handed
It paid off for Madrid.

Yes. Only barca plays so many games and gets fatigued. We had a 6-day rest while lpool had a tough game for the weekend and they destroyed us.

disagree, Tottenham wasn't one of the 2 best teams in the CL, they overachieved tremendously, outplayed by barça in the group, and by City and Ajax for the majority of QF abd SF, even liverpool had there up and downs but Liverpool and City are probably the 2 best teams in the world

With all the money pouring into the PL it was only a matter of time, at the same time the PL is now less competitive then La Liga because the difference between the big 6 and the rest of the PL is massive.
La Liga has had a reverse evolution, big teams weaker but more competitive overall.
