You're welcome
Their defense might be vulnerable but the question is, is it because it's a bad defense or is it a defense that have been instructed to take risks? A team that goes out to score a lot of goals and usually succeeds can also allow to concede 1 or 2.

In before this washed-up Madrid takes care of Bundesliga again and sends both Leipzig and Bayern packing .

In the Pep years I'd say it was more of the latter and since he left it has been more of the former (with elements of the latter of course). The likes of Boateng and Alaba got older and less effective and the newer ones like Suele and Pavard have not been quite consistently convincing. They bought the so-called highly rately Tanguy Nianzou but he has been mostly injured since he got there. And their midfield just hasn't been that great after losing Thiago, not providing a lot of cover for their defense with Tolisso spending on the sidelines being injured and Martinez warming the bench. Roca the former Espanyol player so far has been a non-factor with very few minutes, wasn't rated by Flick apparently.

Bayern still rules as long as they can effectively outscore their opponents as they usually do.

Sure we can blame their defence. But one factor that often gets talked about at Barca which we clearly can see here is the mental part.

They had a solid start being 2-0 up against Gladbach away after 25 min, that's the best start you can ask for. But maybe them winning too much has made them become complacent very easily during a game.

"Oh wow, this'll be another thrashing." They probably thought after scoring their second goal 6 minutes after their first.

Can't sweettalk this, I'm frustrated with Flick. Defence is a joke. Hernandez is by a long shot the best defender, yet Flick still plays Alaba who is a shadow of himself and just waits for his move to Madrid. Can't blame Hernandez if he also wants to leave soon, given how little he is apparently valued.
Immobile is gonna score once, or even twice there, even Neuer can only do so much.

Not to mention whatever this summer transfer window was. Bouna Sarr? Choupo Moting? Douglas Costa? Bayern bought or even just loaned bang average players in positions in which youngsters like Zirkzee, Richards, and Musiala could've gotten gametime. Oh and Marc Roca was bought, but Flick NEVER plays him. Even if the entire midfield is injured, Flick rather plays a winger or attacking mid completely out of position instead of just lining up Roca. At this point I just want Roca to play one game, be incredibly shit in it and therefor justify him not being near the lineup. Flick fucking hates Roca for no apparent reason.

Honestly, Flick has won a CL and that's an automatic "free-of-criticism" pass for a few month. But it is about to expire. Any other coach would fear for the job with the way Bayern play right now. If Bayern goes out in CL, he will be in danger. Plenty of free high profile managers on the market now, waiting for a big club with an offer.

Flick hates Roca? Can do a standard Barca forum diagnosis for ya.

Did he sleep with his wife?
Called him Hans in training and pretended he was telling a nazi joke?
Jumped around like a horny rabbit after unpacking PS5?

If it checks no boxes, he must really suck in training.

But he also transformed the meh way of Bayern playing until then to something super exciting and modern, right?
Are there any managers out of job now that would interest Bayern? Poch just got hired
