The mistake wasnt to keep Busquets and sell Vidal, the mistake was not to sell both.

No club wanted Busi and he didn't want to leave. He was impossible to sell. The only way we could offload him is if we'd pay him out the rest of his contract but with 3 years still left that would be too much of a financial hit on the club's already not good finances.
The biggest mistake is Busi is still a starter for whatever reason.
