Predicted Copa America 2024 lineup

---------------Alvarez
Garnacho-------Messi-----De Paul
-----Lo Celso/MacA----Enzo
Nico G.---Lisandro------Romero---Molina
--------------Dibu

Let's get that back-to-back Copa America

siuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Hallo soul. Albi2010 here. I'd love to see Redondo in, Varela too. And Palacios take over more from RdP. Barco still needs to work on his defensive game. There are several other young fullbacks but none has really put their hand up demanding selection. Hopefully the next 2 years we will see that and Barco if he can solve his defensive positioning and strength well he has all the tools to be Alba or Lahm and his skillset attacking wise is even better.

Argentina 2022 is certainly on par with Germany 2014.. I would argue they are a much better team. Germany struggled and probably should have lost against Argentina then which was a far lesser team.

2010 spain is a great nt of course because it is actually all of "best team in the world" barca and top of real players that were dominating football.
And to counter birdies point.. that spain nt, that was more like a well oiled top European club than a disjointed nt, didn't cruise the world cup at all. They needed luck too ti make it. which shows the level isn't bad at all.

Claiming Germany 2014 were great or played fantastic football is quite the statement considering:

A) They were outplayed by Algerie in the R16 and only got through due to an all-time great performance by Neuer
B) Had a very close game vs. a young, underwhelming France team
C) Weren't even the best team in the actual final

A lot of revisionism with Spain 2010 and Germany 2014.

Spain were incredibly boring while Germany could have gone out in both the R16 and QF, but had some luck and a GOATED Neuer go their way, which tbf is something all Champions have, but let's not act like it was some ATG dominating performance from them apart from the semi-final vs Brazil.

Germany 2014 should have got a red card (foul on Zabaleta) and a penalty conceded (Neuer foul on Higuain) vs Argentina.

The 7-1 result vs Brazil blinded people that they were a super team.

Groupstage Argentinia was crap but how they played in final was terrific, i think most teams in history of World cup finals would have lost against that argentinia.

In 2014 WC i think Germany was still the best team even tough they didnt play great in all matches. Argentinia had good chances but didnt score and Germany just played like Germans always do. Rememberd me a bit of Gala vs Bayern last week.

Don't think people realize how insane their record is.

Have only lost once in their last 51 games which was to Saudi lol.

Argentina and Brazil have produced so much insane talent. Brazil probably has produced the most top tier talent in football history, Argentina second overall, but Argentina's big 3 (Messi, Maradona, Di Stefano) is superior to Brazil's big 3 (Pele, R9, Garrincha/Romario/Zico).
