Another aspect, apart from replacing the old guys in the squad, is to clear out players like Griezmann and Coutinho who don't have a clear position in the squad. Even if Dembele most probably never will live up to his fee, at least we don't have to shoehorn him in.
Easier said than done, but it's time to aim for a 20-man squad where the XI players have a designated backup. Doesn't have to be the same exact playing style, but someone who can come in and out of the system for easy rotations.
For example in our squad we currently have: Lenglet/Umtiti, Araujo/Pique, Dest/Roberto, Frenkie/Roberto, Alba/Firpo, Pedri/Riqui, Dembele/Trincao, Busi/Pjanic (shittiest pairing lol), Ansu/Braithwaite.
Some of these aren't good enough, but at least we know what we get from them.

Busi and Pjanic pairing makes me laugh. We REALLY need upgrade there.

They have that colonizers mentality , where they think they are better then everyone.
As of terms CDM, I would go for tackling and cardio beast like Ndidi, even he is not good passer like Busi.
But again, we need that kind of player that is fast, strong, great tackle and cardio machine.
Not Rodri,Busqets,Pjanic,Jorginho type of CDM where only trait that they have is passing.
Look Casemiro.

He was legitimately a world class player for Atletico. It was obvious he wouldn't have fit the same here though.

Players decline. He was actually good for athletico (he could defend and also give passes and open up to shoot). He wasn't needed here so he didn't fit.

Offer him to PSG at discount price. Save the wages and get the money for decent 9. We have enough useles players even without him. Noone will miss him.

It would balance our books big time if we sell him.
He is on what, 21m wages? For how many years more?
And to sell him for say 75m + wages.
That would be insane for balancing our books.
A he is more or less useless here.
Attacker that doesn't score and doesn't fit.
P.S. I hope he scores today, so he proves me wrong...
