Seems like Spain just doesn't have a rich supply of good prospects coming through.

While in Comparison it seems like Portugal, England, France etc are in far better shape in that regard now.

There are factors such as synergy. Teams members who play in the same league tend to play better. Look at Belgium they are awful considering the names they have

He's only 22 :lol: You didn't even know who De Jong was before he was 22

If he was 17~18 years old you could hype him as much as possible. But at 22, he should display his quality. And it is not impressive.

Would be lucky if he reaches Roberto's level.

39 side way passes.

25 back passes.

0 through pass.

0 dribbling ability.

0 ability to play with right.

Impressive indeed

Puig is totally different class.

True just shows physicality ain't everything. By all means physically Alena should be the better player but Puig is on different level on everything else.

Puig is a crazy running machine though. You can hide a lot of issues by running and working hard.

Carles Alena will wear the number 6 jersey this season.
@BlazquezFont

Looks like he's staying, he's got big boots to fill with that number after the legendary Denis Suarez.

Makes sense that he stays given that Arthur, Raki and Vidal have left. We have Pjanic, De Jong, Busi, Alena and Puig battling it out for 2 positions. Maybe Koeman will play a 4-3-3 in some games too. Looks like Wijnaldum is not coming.
