Unless there is decent money in the Supercup they should be resting players and taking the break now.

On flip side it is potentially a test for current Barca team prior to the PSG game against a team like Real if make final.

True. Winning Copa has to be worth few million. I dont see the point otherwise.

No surprise this happens when he plays every game after coming back from injury.

But it is what it is. He's our best CB and we've played some tough games lately so not much room for resting.

That's the last official thing the club posted about Araujo, today they posted the squad list and he is part of it.

According to Sport, Araujo has been in touch with the club’s medical staff to let them know he’s feeling good and that he’s optimistic he could play later this week.

It was probably a minor issue, but there is still no need to rush him back for Super Copa.
