Oh no Gerry you cant say that. Due to the success of Real Madrids recent bought champions leagues the media have brainwashed everyone in to thinking that it's all about the CL these days. Ronaldo/Real Madrid propaganda completely devalues league titles and the Copa as pub trophies. The last time the Copa was an important trophy was when Real Madrid won it and did an open top bus parade.
The same way the golden boot used to be the trophy to win when Ronaldo had 1 more than Messi. He said it was the better trophy himself. But now that Leo keeps winning it, it has no value.
The sad thing is weak minded Barca fans fall for this bullshit and will say tgat Pique is accepting mediocrity.

Was not questioning that tbf, was disgraceful. Was questioning the devaluing of the league title. Winning La Liga should never be seen as a bad season, even if we got knocked out in the group stage of the CL. Its a league title, something flavour of the month Liverpool hasn't won for 30 YEARS. Yet people reacted like we'd been relegated.
Very few lived through the Gaspart years that's for sure.

Im wondering how does it fell that in last 4 years against a stronger opponents in away games we have a remarkable goal difference of : 7:21, all goals came in cl winning season. That season was 7:5 in away matches.
0:16 in last three years. Congratulations, you just cant play away match and not concede!

I see your point, but I still disagree. It is, I believe, understandable for us not to value the league that much anymore because we have won it many times recently.
Munich, Juve and PSG will make my point a little bit clearer. Would you consider their last season to be successful for winning the league?

You can't compare winning la liga to those other leagues. We are competing against 2 teams that have spent a total of nearly 600m this transfer window. That's more than the other 57 teams in those leagues combined.
And if you think we have won it too many times , can you really be upset that the players are pissed off that people have that mentality?
Honest question, not trolling though it may seem like it : Do you think we should deliberately throw the league a few years to raise its value again amongst our fan base?

It's never about winning the treble or not. How many times this has been said should be clear enough by now. Pique just one of those players that wants to shirk responsibility while supporting a puppet manager so he can enjoy his guaranteed place in the first team with his remaining years.
I'll see how long this bunch of lazy clowns can last winning anything since all they need is win La Liga.

I do not believe that it is either-or. We do not have to throw the league to play better in the CL. I also do not believe that winning the CL should determine our season. It is, as I said, about how we lost it and Pique's comments do not make it any better, in fact, it makes it worse. Pique is missing the point.
