I have been a bit skeptical about the Gundogan signing because of his age, but also because I'm not sure if Xavi will utilize him properly, but anyone comparing Gundogan to Arda haven't watched him play nor do they realize the type of person he is.

Unlike Arda he is a midfielder and not a weird hybrid, he's also a leader on and off the pitch if you listen to what his team mates at City say about him, and also what his team mates at Borussia Dortmund said about him.

And we could have signed him in 2016, but Lucho wanted Arda instead. Either that or we were afraid to take a risk on him due to his back injury towards the end of his BVB career even though he looked like he was slowly getting back to his best again.

If only we had made the right decision back then....

Just checked this out and both of these journalists are working for The Sun. We know about their reputation but how reliable are those guys?

Not that I really believe much what Catalan media (especially Sport) are saying either anyway so I think Gundo will stay at City but we'll probably have to wait until next week.
