21 - Frenkie de Jong

Selling FDJ and Kounde will certainly bring us to 1:1, and then prob Raphina as well but he would be replaced by someone.

If the leak coming from Canut (Koeman's friend and close to Dutchmen) is true, it's really a disappointment from FDJ.
All that time he knows the financial mess the club is in, he refused to take any pay-cut, he refused to leave, and he was selling his 'love for the club' to the stupid fanbase

Now that he sees the club won't win any CL soon, and will be far from the elite of European football for some time, he is open to leaving.... Receiving his full salary of course, and finding an even heftier contract elsewhere

Well we are going to have to make sacrifices with some players we don't really want to sell next Summer.

If it is Frenkie, then it is Frenkie. But hopefully we can deload Christiansen and Kounde, Ferran or Raphinha, Lewandowski first.

Alonso and Roberto off the books. Inigo the year after.

That's some pretty substantial cap reduction.

Roberto and Alonso dont count on reducing salary as out of contract anyway.

All it would do is give a bit more scope to sign/renew others by not renewing them.

Raphina yes
Lewa needs a lot of forcing, unfortunately. He 'dreams' of playing at the new Camp Nou
Cristensen SHOULD n't leave, he came for free, and his wage are not high
and Ferran won't, because he wants to prove things, and we won't get any serious fee for him anyway

If their salaries are not on the books next season then obviously they won't count against the salary cap.

Yes but the biggest issue Barca have is reducing those who are under contract next season.

Them leaving frees up nothing. All it does is not add on more to it if renewed.

His contract at 19m gross includes deferred salary. His appearance bonus he wouldnt be due but the loyalty bonus he would be.

Wouldnt be the savings you make out unless he gave up deferred salary and bonus.

Also if I am his agent I am saying no chance of 100m fee and much lower than that and similar to what they tried to force him out on before.

Both loyalty bonus and 2M are counted on our cap space though, this is what matters. Liga already said they count easy add-ons on salary cap even before season. So it is part of his salary on our salary cap hit.
You remove that, it is saved cap space.
And yes, I know he will likely demand deferred wage, but he deffered his wage for 2 seasons (almost entirety of 20/21 and part of 21/22) so again the question how much you think is remaining to make it such an issue?

I think he will actually leave this summer.

It’s basically developing into Flick being appointed and signing Kimmich with De Jong probably going to Munich.

FFP will prevent that.
We can only sell FDJ and buy some talent there on low wages, after we return to 1:1

No it wont.

Depending on how much got for FDJ.

1:1 doesnt need to happen to sign players.
HE said Kimmich

Now we are on 1:3 or so.
This means we need to swap and then give Kimmich 1/3 of FDJ's current wage.
Kimmich ain't coming on that money here

It is said to be around 60% Barca will have to spend on what they clear this summer.

They dont need to get to 1:1 to sign Kimmich if sell FDJ this summer.

And no 1:3 would absolutely not mean Kimmich needs to take 1/3 of FDJ wage.. thats not how it works at all.

He's a retard for not realizing this a year ago.
