Played solid and assisted and surprised me.

I'd credit Xavi but then he put that idiot Romeu too.

Anyway, happy for him and I admit I was wrong to doubt him when he came on.

Great movement to assist the freeing goal. I'm always confident that he does well when he comes on in these type of games unlike Romeu.
Played like a captain and brought a breath of fresh air which revived the whole midfield.

He already plays for low wages. Any lower and he plays for minimum wage.
But I still think it's best for him to go to Miami in the summer. His skills were never the issue, his body is that can't handle the physical requirements anymore sadly. He lost a lot of physique last couple of years because of his injuries and it's always just a matter of time until the next one.
He should finish the season in the best way possible and just relax in the MLS with our other amigos.

Surprised nobody has mentioned the story in MD today about Barcelona communicating to Bob that they want to renew him under advise from Xavi.
