When people say suarez is more consistent they need to realize the roles are very different and in an era where comparing players is a hobby, its imperative to realize some things can't be compared because both have different roles and for me its easy for neymar to look shit with the role he has.

Neymar's season so far:

1. Alaves 1:2, we needed him to step up since Messi+Suarez weren't playing=Neymar didn't create anything on his own
2. Celtic 7:0, MSN playing, monkey opponent, whole team on fire=Neymar is awesome
3. Leganes 1:5, MSN playing, monkey opponent, whole team on fire=Neymar is awesome
4. Atletico 1:1, a tougher opponent=Neymar invisible again
5. Gijon 5:0, SN playing, monkey opponent, whole team on fire=Neymar is awesome, especially against 10 men
6. Gladbach x:x score, Messi isn't playing, Neymar is supposed to be our leader=Neymar sucks again

And then people will say how he scored xx goals and xx assists in 6 games.
And how he was in Uefa's team of the Month/Year or whatever.

When was the last time when he actually played well when we NEEDED him and when it wasn't 5:0 or 7:0?

He just assisted Arda. He's been awful this game, but this witch hunt, as if he was the only one playing badly, is pathetic.

The whole team is bad today. Busquets, Suarez, Iniesta, Rakitic.

Neymar played a role in both the goals. You have unrealistic expectations. Go direct it at suarez who has been playing bad too in last few matches then. Today also very bad performance. Wasted a clear opportunity. Neymar lost possession lot of times but he is our only creative threat upfront. Without him we couldnt have won today. As simple as yhat. He did not play great or even good but he did not suck for sure. He is one of our better performers. In last few matches both Neymar and Suarez are out of form, and with no messi it is a big concern. At least arda is in form.

Horrible game, almost comically bad at times. But still got an important assist for the Arda goal. That's what big players do. That stupid yellow card, though. Think he got one against Celtic too.
