in La liga you compete against quality sides . If it was so so easy , Real would have won it more than just two in this decade . by the way you are doing better than Messi 5748

In La Liga, you compete against the best of Spain. In CL, you compete against the best of Spain, England, Bayern, Juve, and PSG. One of Madrid/Barca js virtually guaranteed to win La Liga (95% chance) but maybe only a 30-35% chance that one will win CL this year.

I didn't say La Liga was easy but the champions league is quite clearly the biggest prize today.

Popularity wise biggest . Not in terms of competition . La liga is equally difficult . Actually Zidane also said this . Barca is guaranteed to win that because Ronaldo , Modric and Real managed to do fuck all against Messi when they faced off

La Liga teams still fear Barcelona so it would be easier to win it, but we lost that fear factor in the Champion League, while it's almost the opposite for Real Madrid.

We didn't lost the fear factor . We are predictable which can be solved by proper tactics and players running their soaks off . But can't do that with two player that runs 7.5 kmz upfront . Suarez + Messi ain't gonna win a Cl again unless we use Suarez as a super Sub in Cl like Xavi was used in 2015

Does Suarez run less than in treble season? I know for sure, that Messi doesn t. We were predictable yes, but that was largely due to weak(er) team.
This year we can be optimistic, regardless of prevailing atitude of pesimism.
