When they were comfortably packed down, he did the only thing he could. Drew a lot of blue shirts towards him with close control and then played it off so others could try and create something with the space he gave them.

He also received the ball a few times when they were still unorganized from a previous attack, though. Even though Kante was on him like a hawk in those situations, I wish he would have just tried something more.

In any case, 4-4-2 is pretty useless on counters with only one Suarez to pass to, which is so easy to anticipate and shut down.

This is easy. Get Iniesta as CM again, play Coutinho on the left wing and Dembélé on the right wing.

Iniesta struggles to defend and as part of a three with Raki and Busi would not be enough against better sides.

Coutinho cant play in CL which will be probably main focus of team set up for remainder of season.

Messi wont go back to false nine and shouldnt as dont have the wide players to make it work.

Why does this get repeated ad nauseam. False 9 was used to good effect earlier with Denis and Deulofeu as wingers. Even with Suarez as an inside forward.

Everybody handing out those burns to Neymar these days. Love it. Fucker asked for it. Seems like very few got any love for him.

There's no stopping him when he plays like this. Guy can win games on his own. Not only kept us in the tie today, but put us in control of it when it could have gotten very ugly indeed. He needs to keep showing up in the big games.

It's one huge positive from today's game. Very rarely do we lose when Messi has a good game.

Will tear Chelshit to shreds at Camp Nou. I'm sure of it. Just need the problems behind him sorted out.

The man hsd seen and played with most of the legends of 2 generations and he knows what he's talking about :worthy:

Is there any player who's played with more of the greats than Henry? He's played with Xavi, Iniesta, Busi, Messi, Puyol, Alves, Bergkamp, Vieira, Zidane, Thuram, van Bronckhorst, Eto'o, Deco, Ronaldinho, Zlatan, Inzaghi, and Van der Sar.

Quite the journey.

All that pales in comparison to assisting a tap in for the GOAT though.
