No, kicking the ball away is the exact opposite of what you do with this type of football. Its the reason City bought Bravo.

So if it costs a goal it is better somehow? Once in a while it is better to kick it away, not saying he should do it often.

It will cost a goal from time to time but in the long run it helps us to gain more points than we lose.

Watch the gif .. Alkacer was bullied out of his position .. you have to show some authority when you take part of the wall ..Alkacer didn't

Fair point.

Ter Stegen's press conference:

On the Free-kick conceded: “I haven’t seen it yet. I don’t know if it’s a foul or not, but he shot it well." [sport]

"At the start of the game it was complicated, they pressed us high up the pitch, but with the goals it became easier."

"We had to adapt to the new system a bit, with three defenders, but the coach explained it to us and it was easier."

"The important thing is we kept moving forward in a game that started difficultly for us.”

Barçapocalypse NOW!
Weird move. I am glad it didn't have any consequences.

Agree, could have been a lot much worse, especially since he tried to keep the ball in play, their forward could have scored once he dropped the ball or something like that...

Still hilarious, though...

Not weird at all when it comes to Stegen. We didnt get punished same as his penalty foul a week ago but still only one in many of his blunders

That penalty was a collective flaw and similar plays happen week in week out in football.

It was completely different from today move, a true "brainfart".
