Surprised Real adhered to that agreement for so long. It only really benefits Atletico these days.

Probably easier to take as tax doesnt need to be paid on top of the buy outs anymore.

Same. I know they were interested in Kun and Falcao but showed restraint. Guess they stopped caring. They're poaching a player who has looked great this season and could have been Atleti's LB for 10+yrs after Felipe Luis leaves. This isn't an Arda to Barca situation.

Yea tax rules changing a while ago has made the transfer much easier but I read Real are still paying 6mil+ Cerezo requested on top of the buyout to lessen the hard feelings.

If he if ok with pissing off his mother club and making a move like this, imagine what he does at Real if he isn't playing as much as he'd like.

I think he choose to sign with Madrid mostly because he wants to piss off Simeone and Atletico. Staying in same city probably was a factor too.

It would be interesting to see what his brother who has recently renewed his contract with Atletico thinks about that move though.

An L for Atleti.

Not necessarily. Sure he's a talented player but he's also an arrogant cunt, traitor, and a molester. Besides Atleti's scouts seem to find extremely talented youngsters every year and it probably wont be too long till they find another young left back who will suit them better.

So much for the gentleman's agreement. Dick move by real, hope the little traitor breaks a leg on his debut.

It seems every talented player wants to go to Madrid
It wouldn't surprise me if Verratti signs for Madrid as well

Tables turned.

If you point it out or talk about Barca's transfer policy the last few years, you're called for a whiner. The same if you point out the board's scandals.

Some people just want you to bury your head under the sand.

Barca have a future and responsibility to keep up the level after Messi retires too. That's why we need to start signing better players and promote those within who has the level required.

However, lets sign more Ardas and less Asensios or Iscos.

Guess we'll have to see what happens now. Won't keep any high hopes though. Main targets unavailable in Verratti, Bellerin and Dembele, and young players seem to prefer Madrid even though they're stacked.

Usually when that happens our alternatives lately tend to be signing no one or signing Vermaelen or Song.

Atleti will be fine and eventually find Felipe Luis' replacement but Theo was from their own academy since youth, would have been free, and had a great season last year who is now going to their great rivals. Its defintely a loss.

He was presented today and went on and on about Real being the biggest and best club.
