Javier Mascherano came from the premier league (West Ham too), so he must be shit.

ehm... I chose Mascherano because he cost us HALF of what we paid for Villa, is younger, and has adapted to what Pep wants him to (playing as CB) incredibly well. Villa on the other hand is a 30 year old, severely injured striker, who has to play as a winger due to Messi being played in the centre. I don´t really see how that is "wrong on so many levels"?
