Thread: Uefa champions league "u-19"

    Default Uefa champions league "u-19"

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE "U-19" starts in august! " 1st edition"

The tournament, the first of its kind in Europe, organised by UEFA aims to help academy players make the transition from youth to first team. Organiser Mark Warburton believes the tournament will help prepare young playersfor the pressures associated with elite level football.

There will be four groups of four teams each, with the top two from each group progressing to the knock-out stages, which begin in January.

Barca will be competing against Liverpool, Inter Milan, Man City, Marseille, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Sporting Lisbon, Wolfsburg, PSV, Celtic, FC Basel, Molde, Fenerbahce & Rosenborg.

    perfect thing to happen
Deulofeu, Rafinha, Espinosa, Gomez and maybe even Samper and other talents getting some European football experience and we can finally watch those guys!

it will be a slightly weaken team, as the likes of Rafinha, Espinosa, Gomez will likely be promoted, so i hope the players that will replace them are as good or better

Be interesting to see which players we take to this. Should be fascinating to watch though, great idea.

If I'm not mistaken only the knockout stage will be aired on TV... And considering that Deulofeu and Rafinha are going to be part of B team as Juveniles, they'll be able to play it...
