It almost was, as his blunder could had costed them the title. And MAtS is a different case. New to the league, still doesn't really speak castellano, and he hasn't been playing in the team all his life, as Iker has.
Playing him each 15 days or more won't do him any good.

If he is gonna play the CL then he should get some of the games against the lower half table LL teams. If Lucho don't care about Messi's record then he shouldn't have a problem with sacrificing the Zamora either(Any keeper need to play atleast 28 league games to qualify for the Zamora)

And sitting on the bench playing in pointless CdR matches with no pressure each 30-40 days does him good?? MatS is not bought to do a part time job. He's here to be the #1. Playing at the group stage of the CL should not be a big deal as you make of it.

Then Lucho should at least had started MAtS against Eibar and Granada. The way it's been done so far it's not good for MAtS, or the team.

the only reason people are making a big deal out of this is they dont like Bravo. why would someone make blanket statements like play him in La Liga or dont play him at all. As u guys said, hes our future #1, he cant only be playing CDR, but he cant play La Liga cause Bravo is having cleansheets no matter how he got them. If he has luck on his side, good for us, because if Bravo doesn't concede, we don't concede. People seem to forget that for some reason

Yeah, that's why I think playing Bravo in liga and cl is the way to go... That's because I don't like him :lol:
The way Lucho is dealing with the gk's is not the best. But if he's going to start MAtS in the CL, which is a level higher, teams are tougher, then he should also start him in the previous liga game. Or start Bravo, make him the #1.

We think MAtS is the future, but if he really was that too in Lucho's mind, he wouldn't have signed Bravo. Bravo is not that old, so he can be the #1 for a while.

but if he hadn't signed Bravo, we would've been stuck with Mats who couldn't communicate well with his teammates. Now imagine all those clean sheet suddenly disappearing. and btw, you cant blame Lucho for this, blame :song:

Does anybody have stats for the midfielders the last few games? It seems like they have been playing closer together and passing to each other more.
