MD saying the technical staff are concerned about Rafinha's current state.

He's been injured for 5 months and his progress has stalled with no idea when he will be back.

He's a crock. He's had serious injuries like ACL as well which are tough to recover fully from.

I don't think he was ever going to be first XI Barca quality anyway unlike his brother. He could have been a good squad player but injuries have killed it. A bit like Afellay.

Rafinha isn't really all that buff either, he just looks like a normal man into fitness. The only reason why guys like Paulinho and Rafinha look big is because they are always standing next to other footballers whom for the most part are just a bag of bones.
 
Paulinho is strong, don't let his large jersey fool you

Big muscles ≠ Strength. Just take bodybuilders and power lifters, the vast majority of bodybuilders are bigger than the vast majority of power lifters, but for the most part they're not nearly as strong. There is also a difference between the strength required to move weights in the gym and functional strength that is actually used in sports like football.
