In the matchday series there is a scene where Barto speaks to Coutinho and tries to lift his spirits. I don't think our team didn't support him enough. Maybe it's not a mental thing but he was never in the level everyone expected.

He could have had a very good season and they still wouldn't pay the agreed option

Who knows, maybe he can return to the squad next season and he can contribute. Hard to see anyone paying more than around 50 mill for him

CL is where he should play well for people to see him. No one cares about Bundesliga. If he can have 1-2 good performances in CL we might get something out of him.
