Why change the formation and not to give the chance to Wague?
I see it is a quiet easy match to give a change of a youngster with 10 experienced players

Im not saying that deal is a fact , but at this point there has to be some truth to it. How else can this unhealthy obsession with Rakitic playing game in game out be explained. If Rakitic were to tell Ernesto "7/10" Valverde that he needs rest , Im sure he will give him the rest he needs.

Surely him playing against Cultural after Vidal fell out raises some red flags.

If that deal exists and I really don't believe in that than both of them are stupid as fuck. Rakitic for risking injuries and Valverde for overusing a player who will be dead in March.
