Bayern just loves buying wingers.

Not sure about how the Hudson-Odoi situation will play out now given Chelsea will be banned. If they get Hudson-Odoi for cheaper (he only has one year left on his contract), they might not go for Pepe.
Almost as much as Barca love buying midfielders.

They were offered €70m for him over the winter with a contract of €10m per from China.

Great but i doubt Bayern would pay more so either a move to china was/is not an option for him or something different is up.

Idk, i feel club representatives talking about other clubs like that usually means the move doesn't go through because that's just a strange thing to do if there are ongoing negotiations.

Inspiring a bidding war

"Nicolas Pépé is wanted by Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and FC Barcelona. Pépé wants to wait for the right project before making a decision. The French club wants up to €80m for the winger."

"Luis Campos, special advisor to the president of Lille, Gerard Lopez, believes that Nicolas Pépé (23 years) could play in the PSG . "At PSG for example, he has a place. I imagine an attack, thinking that Cavani is not there, with Neymar on the left, Mbappé in the center and Pépé on the right, it's something extraordinary. It's top, top, really top level. "

No, no, he doesn't have any place in Paris.

Plus he loves Marseille and of course hates the capital.

He can sign in Bayern or even better at Marseille.

Will comfortably replace Cavani.

You don't understand. On his social media, he had been "vocal" for years (not really vocal since those are written tweets), about his affection for OM and even wrote Fuck PSG.

So, from now on, you can understand our supporters not caring about him and not wanting him at the club.

It is not a matter of ability or price anymore and he is not a generational talent either.

It is really interesting that Lille's manager kept implying (more than once) that he should go to Bayern while their sporting director lauded that he could form a lethal front three with Neymar and Mbappe at PSG.

Looks like they are doing their best to sell him. Perhaps trying to initiate a bidding war or something.

Already explained le LOSC is into speculating on players. The "owner" has taken a lot of loans to buy the club and the players so he has to sell players for profit to fulfill his agenda.

They are just shopping their player around to get the higher price. He is a good player, no doubt. But you can see them even explain how good the player would be for X club or Y club and how it should be used to give the best for the potential buyers.

They are not as rich as Monaco so they can't play the fake "hard line" like they don't want to sell and wait for the out-of-this-world proposition to sell asap. So they are putting big clubs names on paper to drive the price and showing they are willing to sell.

In 2011, when he was 15 years old. Let's not be this petty.

Every supporter wants something different. Some still want Cavani to hold for example. But I can't really think of a better fit at RW outside of Dembélé, who isn't available and would be even more expensive if he were.
