Neymar Jr.

PSG is also the french club he likes the most. But i really can't see anything but a disaster. He will eat even more junkfood with his childhood friend, be injured more, play erratic football with some sparks here and there. There are some people who shouldn't be at Paris (not even PSG but just the city). Aurier was a cool and upcoming guy at Toulouse and he went down and did a lot of shit at Paris. Kurzawa was good and on the up at Monaco. At Paris, he is living the night lifestyle and is contantly injured and useless when not. Same with Verratti and his back injuries because of lifestyle. Kimpembe has started to have the same injury that struck Verratti and had to go under the knife. French players (even more if they have childhood friend in Paris) = disaster. Mbappé is an exception as he is grounded and focused on his job.

That's why oil clubs will never dominate and have never dominated Europe. You can get players in enough to win ypur league but to dominate Europe you need players who love the club and will go the extra mile for it.

All the 'great CL teams of the past had this. City are suffering from the same problem as you guys, their players sign for money mostly and not love of the club. That doesn't mean that they don't try to win. They just don't have that inner passion for the club to go the extra mile needed for European dominance

I guess they forgot Bayern is paying for Coutinho's salary. Another fake news article.

Not true.
Last year we already had the highest wages in the world.

Then we added:
1. Frenkie with more than 10M Net iirc
2. Malcom left the team, who was earning peanuts
3. Denis also
4. Then we added Griezmann who is at around 20M Net, right?
5. Cou was earning less that Griezmann, something like 15-16M Net iirc

So, you have Frenkie 10-ish M, Griezz 20-ish M, and Firpo (peanuts).
You lost Cou 16M, Denis and Malcom peanuts.
Let's say that we added 32M Net and got rid of let's say 20-22M.

So, even before Neymar (and after Cou's loan), our already highest wage bill grew for around 10M Net or 20M gross per season.

Now add Neymar who is on 40M Net, right?
Which is around 80M gross.
So, IN THIS MOMENT, if you add Neymar, our wage bill which was already the highest in the world and was on a verge of FIFA and La Liga rules, will be around 100M gross per year higher than in the last season.

If we would offload Raki, Dembele, Umtiti, we would cover only half of those newly added 100M gross on wages this season.

So, it is not a fake news.
No matter what we do, we will have even higher wages than the last year and we will be on a verge of breaking all rules regarding finances.
But hey, we will get Neyboy, arguably the (2nd) best player in the world :neymar:

Well, this has nothing to do with "love". Dembélé is prolly one of the best Barça lover but he doesn't have the ethics. It is as simple as that. I'm pretty sure a guy like Aurier likes PSG more than Mbappé for example. Still, one would do shit things during his time there while the other is a professional.

While i criticize them here, i also aknowledge they are just young men. When you are young, rich, successful, it is normal for them to enjoy life. A godly player like Ronaldinho himself had terrible ethics wherever he was.

Is that who he supports? Agree with you on those points, he seems too interested in joking around and living the lifestyle than actually concentrating on football. We saw flashes of what he can do last season, maybe Tuchel can settle him down.. I wouldn't think Valverde is the most convincing coach if he's telling you what to do.

Yeah, you can say PSG is the french club he supports.

sounds like a certain Brazilian

At least Neymar has the talent and results to go along with him acting unprofessional at times.... Dembele currently can't pass a ball and is appearing to be a low IQ guy who just wants to joke around.

Professional football players support no club other than the one that pays them.

Tell that to the Dembélé that went AWOL and disrespected the club that was paying him at the time (Dortmund).

I'm not saying that the fact PSG he quite likes PSG will have any influence in the outcome. In fact, he likes Barça way more than PSG and i believe he will be stubborn enough to stay and fight.

Yeah, this is the thing people don't understand.

Ofc Neymar is not the perfect professional and is a pain to deal with but he is freaking good. Dembélé is still very much a prospect. And even in national team he is losing ground to less talented players.

Just compared their individual awards too... forgot how many Neymar has!!!! Of course Dembele is younger but he won't achieve what Neymar has by the time he gets to that age.

Because Barca was offering more (money)

Money is a important factor of course but Dembélé was quite active on his twitter at the time. He was posting the different media articles about the evolution of the interest of Barça after Neymar departure. He was tagging some of his friends and some former teammates at Rennes and you could see his excitement as a kid. And you could almost predict by the way he was posting that he would do his disappearing act to force the transfer.

It is evident that Barça was and has always been his dream club.

I have to say that i don't think Mbappé will ever reach Neymar level either. Not trophy wise but on perfromances.

Also, there is the fantasy of Mbappé and Dembélé going at full speed at defences but most of the time, it has failed in French national team. You cannot have those two "direct" players, you need other profiles unless Mbappé plays as a striker.

and they would suck defensively. Sure they can burn you in counter attack, but otherwise they will be liability.
