Barca Transfers and Rumors

What else are you implying when you say the following: "Don't bring that crap "But he can play CM CAM RB whatever"?

There's nowhere I said he can't play those positions. Professional footballers can play anywhere.

What I am referring to as crap is when a player
Let's say Alex Song, plays quite well as a DM for Arsenal, tough tackling, good passing etc.

DM is his best position where he plays his A game, then some brilliant mind comes and says " Look he can tackle, just like Puyol. He can play CB, Defensive RB, DM, let's sign him"

So we're buying a player based on glimpses and not best position

That's why I said
We want a CB, get a Puyol
We want a RW get a specialist RW who has all the attributes on a RW, not because of glimpses

So by that logic, you'd say Iniesta in the first half of 12/13 was a winger and not an actual midfielder. Monaco's 4-4-2 is a very different system to ours and Silva's role there is very much how our midfielders are meant to play.

So is Atletico's and Villareal's 4-4-2

Messi as a AM? Hum, that is worrisome because he cannot defend. Your midfield gets exposed.
I think it´s easier to find a good RB that can assure the wing in some attacks when Messi comes to the middle.

It's also a lot easier to have him exposed all alone on the wing since Messi doesn't help defend and he hardly likes playing on the wing anyways

gasgas is the biggest twat on these forums. Always ridiculing and putting others down for posting their ideas. Complete bellend that deserves to be ignored completely.

I agree with Raki's post in regards to the signings. A RB and two CM signings are required. The RB and one to the CM signings have to be a top player. Personally I think for the CB and RW positions we can manage with Marlon, Deu and Vidal.

Preach what you practice bro.....You didn't ignore him then :p

Anyway, not too sure if we can afford not signing a CB. We will b left with Umtiti, hot & cold Pique and the youngster Marlon. I think both Masch and the useless Mathieu are out this summer

Far less worrisome than Messi as RW,mainly because he hasn't play the position since the start of 2016,we just kept pretending he does.
That or move Messi from starting line up,which I think no one will want obviously. but a non-symmetrical 4-4-2 is what we play when we pretend Messi is a RW,this fucks both RW and even midfield since they have to be dragged a lot to sides to cover for lack of wingers, our midfielders now just cover for others rather than playing as midfielders. Let the 2 player in midfield cover for Messi alone and control the game with him.
bring a RW who can both do his defensive duties and keep the opponent LB busy defending him rather than having the freedom to attack us.

If we are looking for a CB this summer, I wonder if we are still consider Dayot Upamecano as an option?

Can he be transferred into two consecutive windows?
Also RB Leipzig is an interesting case, are they gonna be sellers in the transfer windows or act like other clubs bought by rich owners/foundations like PSG,City & Chelsea?

Why do people assume that the financial fair play rules no longer apply to clubs like Monaco and other clubs owned by a sugar daddy? These clubs have pathetic revenue streams. Do people assume that the FFP has been scrapped? The whole point of the FFP is to prevent another Chelsea, City or PSG from happening again.

Didn't they make the rule far more flexible couple of years ago?

MD saying galatasaray want to buy both Arda and Masch. No word on fees. Masch's entourage apparently approve the move.

Francesc Aguilar says we have scouted Metz winger Ismaila Sarr and the reports have been positive.
