He is a machine. A cruciate ligament injury would have ended many careers at that age, but he is still playing and scoring for fun. 12 goals and 1 assist in 8 games in Serie A is impressive. He'd be leading the Serie A scoring sheet if he wasn't dealing with minor injuries this season.

Would be great but Milan are in Europa League and he won’t be at the Euro’s so that counts him out.

Considering there is no real stand out this year yet he may have a chance. If he carries milan to scudetto and el that could be enough.
He may also be playing in the euro. He and the swedish coach is in "talks". Would be great with a last hurra.

If Ibra can lead Milan to the scudetto at age 39 with great stats then yes he should definitely be in the conversation.
