    Daniele De Rossi

Can you blame them? I think not, most aspiring pro footballers sacrifice their education for a potential professional career. If they finally make it, they probably have 10-12 good years where they have to earn enough money for the rest of their lives, so of course they chase the $$ I mean its...

    3 - Gerard Pique

Hes done that a couple of time with barca as well, i dont think i have ever seen a defender do that. Just great technique for a defender

    Mario Balotelli

I mean talent as in potential, I dont know if ibra is more naturally talented than balotelli aguero is smaller van persie slower

    Fernando Torres

If the keeper come out, as a striker you have two options, either rounding the keeper or trying to lob him. As soon as Torres saw him coming out he decided to round him , left was not really an option so he right, buffon anticipated that. If rounding was the right decision is up for debate...

    Fernando Torres

a split second yes, but i doubt alot of strikers would have done it differently though,

    Mario Balotelli

striker yes, he has everything except intelligence

    Fernando Torres

Buffon moved at the same time, no chance for torres to move left again , and the defender was on the other side, messi probably could have moved left again, but he is not a normal player:

    Mario Balotelli

Its a shame that he such an idiot though, he is clearly the most talented striker on the world right now, but i doubt he will ever fulfill his potential

    Andres Iniesta

If messi wouldn't exist , he should win ballon dor all the time, his technique is zidane like

    Sergio Busquets

one of busquets and alonso is not needed, play xavi there instead of alonso, would make the whole midfield better

    Mario Balotelli

he wanted to be extra cool with that chance, it backfired

    Fernando Torres

buffon didn't go down and torres wanted to round him. Buffon anticipated that

    Fernando Torres

He wasn't so bad, the first chance was stopped by brilliant defending from buffon. spain looked alot more dangerous with him on the pitch

    Andres Iniesta

    Wesley Sneijder

Best player on the pitch today, actually created 10! goal scoring opportunities, better than all of his games in the last worldcup

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

You agree that he is slightly buff and taller , yet you disagree that he has lost any of his explosiveness, which means that he actually has to have increased his explosive ability. I just dont think thats the case at all. If a am a person who is very fast and explosive and suddenly decide to...

    Manuel Neuer

Great saves today, but a keeper is not all about saves, and shouldn't be solely judged by them. Neuer is the best keeper in the world for me because he can do everything, great speed rushing out, great technique for a keeper, areal control of the penalty area, great throwing ability , the...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Of course you can be slower for a limited time due to overworking of the muscles, still Messi is not as explosive as he was when he was younger. This is not criticism as he is today the far better player overall, but anyone with the ability to objectively judge his performances can see that. I...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

come on , look at that run, hes barely faster than the referee. He has lost some of his acceleration, but i think the main reason for that is the increase of muscle mass in his upper body, he bulked up quite a bit in the recent years.
