What if: which game would you like to relive hoping to change the outcome?

Dude in the Inter game we literally had 4 good chances: 1)Pique goal 2)Bojan correctly disallowed goal 3)Bojan missed header 4)Messi run and curl-shot That‘s it. A lot had to do with great defense (maybe allowed by the refs) and with Ibra fucking up the link-up play big time. In 2012 vs...

PL wide open, if Pep wins his 6th in 7 years in this fashion, then I have no words anymore  Likewise if Liverpool lose the 3rd PL in 6 years for a few points

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Btw Wenger claimed that Leo is the GOAT back in 2010 (not in 2011) iirc. Watching some highlights between 2009/10 and 2011/12, you can understand why. Although he was a more complete (2014/15) or more influential (2018/19) player in other seasons, the raw ability in early 2010s is simply unmatched.

    Premier League 23/24

Barca vs. Real in the calendar years 2011 and 2012 was peak football and peak rivalry. (the whole period between 2010 and 2018 was great, but that was undoubtedly the peak of the rivalry). They played each other like 13 teams in 2 calendar years and most of those games are classics. At no point...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Dude you are embarrassing yourself. Leo left Barca in very strange circumstances, aged 34. Realistically he could only go at one club that could cover his wages and tolerate his playing style (I mean no defense, which is a must in CL). First season was bad, second one was ok. If you want to go...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

I don't understand this short of thing. Is he giving away replicas or the OG B'Dors? If he is doing the latter, does that mean he has no B'Dors at home?

    Jose Mourinho

Tbf Mou did belong among the 3-4 best managers in the world between 2004 and 2015, that's impressive. He defined this era of football. However, his longevity cannot be compared to guys like SAF, Ancelloti, Pep or even Wenger.

2nd place sounds nice, but he did have a 15-point differential compared to City

That was a great moment and great performance which could have gotten us the league. But I am talking about CL, he was mediocre and/or ineffective in all 4 KO games.

    Zidane vs Ronaldinho

„Lil bro“ sit down and chill  R9 had 2 massive injuries back to back, he really did not play any football for like 3 years. When he came back, of course he did not have healthy habits, but his talent before the injuries was so great that he earns comparisons with prime Pele and prime...

    Zidane vs Ronaldinho

Not considering longevity just because they are brazilians is a coping mechanism  Pele was Brazilian and was at the top of his game for 10 years at least. Even Neymar, who admittedly benefited more from modern medicine, stayed at a great level for 10 years or so. R10 had like 5-6 great...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

I agree with you, Leo was the better and most complete player every single season, even when Leo had some "down" seasons for his standards. That said, BDor always favored team titles etc over sheer game to game brilliance, see Cannavaro over R10 in 2006, Nedved over Henry in 2003 and R9 in 2002...

    Kevin De Bruyne

To be fair though, Xavi and Iniesta did practically share their entire club and NT career. Both were elite and deservedly belong in the GOAT CM conversation, but in terms of accolades, it is difficult to say that the one was clearly more valuable than the other (though I do hold Xavi in a better...

    Zidane vs Ronaldinho

ZZ is a little bit overrated, but he does win in the longevity and accolades categories by a landslide. Both have a WC, but while Zidane's 1998 WC is overrated, he did win it as the main man, while R10 was the third wheel in the Brazilian attack. Following that, ZZ had one of the best WC's in...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

I don't think that CR was clearly better than Leo in 2016/17 and 2017/18. He surely performed better in big games, but he played with a team that was better assembled, coached etc. Evidenced for example by the fact that CR did not score or assist (iirc) both in the SF and the final of the CL in...

    Ernesto Valverde

It is also a fact that EV had the most favorable La Liga environment in more than a decade. Don’t start about 2017/18 Real Madrid etc, they obviously did not give a damn about La Liga at that point. The truth is that in both his full seasons, the second best team finished with less than 80...
