4 - Ronald Araújo

"I prefer to keep to myself what I think about Gündogan's statements. I have codes and values that have to be respected."

"Saddened by the elimination, like all the culés. We had it in our hands to qualify and there is sadness. The play is fortuitous, which is 50-50. If the referee doesn't call it, nothing happens, but if he calls it, I have to be sent off".

Bit hard to trust this guy going forward if he seriously can't see he made a mistake.

The important thing here is, that he needs to understand that this 50/50 situation he created was extremly stupid to begin with, if it's the first third of the game and you're up 2 goals. We'll see going forward probably.

Seems that he's running his mouth about Gundogan's post match interview.

The guy is working 24/7 on content for part two of his documentary.

Maybe
But he's 25
Ramos at 25 was getting better at defending, not worse
And night and day difference with ball at his feet

Nor can I remember a match, let alone a series of matches, he actually cost us
You saw few El Clasicos it seems.
If Kovaci rules apply Ramos would have been eliminated half the games, always had his hands on oponents and made rash interventions.
One game will be the 2017 if I am not mistaken.
I really respect Ramos but his fame( as Cristiano's )as GOAT is built on offside goals against Atletico on Twitter not on the pitch.

Had the opportunity to stop Messi, Ronaldinho and failed. Even Suarez looked strong and Suarez was so lame against Atletico, Roma, Juve, Liverpool.

Where Ramos was way better is at ball control, acceleration, heading (here he used his hands alot but refs somehow allowed Real players to use the sholders of oponents).
I will take Ramos over Araujo but the style is similar.
But Araujo has time to improve if he uses his head. Look at Rudiger, way better now than two years ago.

For me it was a dive but is not 50/50. Gundogan is right. Aruajo, Lewandowski + Pedri, Cancelo made huge errors in defense.
Gundogan and FDJ were poor too.

Kounde, Yamal, Raphinha and Cubarsi are clear.

When he had Vini Jr in his pocket, people and especially Madrid fans weren't talking all that mess, had Mbappe in his pocket too whenever they came up 1 vs 1.

One bad game against Vini all of a sudden it's clasicos? Lol, the last 4-0 was all on xavi, nothing to do with his performance.

He fucked up, he should own it, then we move on

Not many if any better 1 vs 1 defender in the world than him right now, he just needs to work on his composure and passing, which to be fair has improved a lot.

It's his pass that freed up yamal for the first goal, it probably got to his head and he thought he was curbarsi lol

Saw plenty of Clasicos and any other games in question
In none of them was Ramos the sole or overwhelmingly primary reason as to why we lost, and few if not none were in CL

Ramos was a teenager when facing Dinho
'Not stopping' Messi is like claiming Chiellini-Bonucci duo were shite defenders because he regularly scored on them

What Kovacic rules anyway?

Respekt_III

Anti-everything
He's talking about the ref - Istvan Kovacs

A bit of an arogant prick and too trigger happy to hand out yellows. But otherwise he got every big decision right.
that was a clear pen on Gundogan though as he clearly gets clipped. If Arujo's was a foul then this also had to be, not that i think it would of made a difference to the outcome.

Indeed but you don't see people hyping Bonucci so hard. I mean is not at fault but it is presented as flawless. In my opinion Ramos lost 2 Clasicos Araujo style.

Kubala made me do it!
