Calm the fuck down and let other Barca fans see some positivity in an otherwise awful 2nd leg.

If you were in charge, we would have shut the club down in 2020 because no one else besides 2010s Barca core is ever even decent in your eyes

Actually I'm very calm. Wasn't really surprised to see us unfold.

Don't know why you're so riled up and can't accept facts. The team has been woeful all season long. Zero titles and barely any decent football played.

I can agree that I was also worried we would commit some huge error. But Araujo was supposed to be one of our leaders... I can understand if someone like Cubarsi did it.

We had more chances before the red card and played an even game to slightly better game in Paris.

Team capitulated completely after the red card in a fashion it shouldn't have? Yes, probably. Scoreline was 4-2 and we had had more chances before that? Also yes.

You know you can win ties by scoring chances on the break right? You don't have to control the game. You can't control the game vs a super-fast attacking line like PSG anyway, except if you can press like City. We had to sit back, don't do any stupid shit, and punish them when we had the chance. Which we did, until that fuck-up.

At this level you can't do stuff like that and still go through. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the worst error you can make, Araujo hit a perfect 10.
Well, before the match everyone in here was in agreement that we have the better midifled and should be able to better control the ball. Guess what? Our midfield was non-existent tonight.

Playing on counter is by choice, not being able to keep the ball and gifting it to PSG is about being stupid.

We played counter by choice. It was very obvious.

We don't have a good enough team to play like City vs PSG lol. Not even by a long shot.

Game was tense, but before the red card, we were dangerous in transitions and even had the chance to score for 2-0.

I really think we went into the game with the wrong mentality, and that it was very hard to change that mindset. It wasn't as if PSG were swarming us or were particularly good either. We were just way too negative, slowed down possession from the start and had no movement.

The mistake was on Araujo as an individual error, from the poor long ball intercepted to the proceeding foul and sending off.

But the way we were playing was building towards conceding. Ter Stegen slowing down distribution and time wasting from minute zero. Slow goalkicks with the centres both coming to take the goalkick to Stegen.

Countless balls from Stegen to Kounde as the midfield were flat and not moving to receive passes.

No passes to midfield open to the centrebacks.

As I said, the whole team mentality was wrong from the start, but we almost pulled it off with a Lamine action from nothing like in Paris.

We should have been in semi-final and then, probably, final too.

That would have been a perfect scenario for either decision he was about to make.

This is so anticlimactic.

We rode out the storm early on by PSG in the first 10 mins as they came in guns blazing, managed to hold them off and stop them from creating actual chances, apart from a shot by Mbappe.

I take back what I say about him sharing no blame.

His post match interview is embarrassing.

We gotta get these Catalans out of this club. Xavi and Laporta both need to get out of this club.

He needs to learn to control his emotions. A manager at any level with this many red cards is ridiculous. His expulsion today added to the implosion and he added fuel to the fire instead of calming the team down while the tie was still level.

I think he can become a top coach but he came to Barca too early. Needs years of experience in a different competitive environment to figure out his tactics.

The whining and histrionics from him is truly absurd. I get it's not all his fault but this guy comes across as massively delusional and egotistical whenever he has one of these episodes.

He's complaining that the ref fixed the match over what was a clear red card. How can him and his team watch that back and say, yeah, the ref fixed the game by calling this? Does he even believe that himself?
Blaming Araujo for getting the red card is one thing, but claiming it wasn't red and a rigged decision by the ref is crazy.

Top coach? That boat has sailed. He'll be lucky if fucking Crystal Palace hire him. He's a bum and his entitled mentality has a bad influence on the team.
Fuck him and Laporta. I knew PS G would beat us but this same old humiliation is getting too much now.
That fat prick Laporta will probably announce Marquez as next manager. There's just nothing to look forward to at this club.

In the eyes of some fans, we are never allowed to play pragmatically.

We are only ever allowed to win, when we are by far the best team on the field and in the world.

1-0 up against a team that has all the pace in the world, we should have done what? Came out and pressed them, leave space in behind for them to exploit if they beat the press?.

Control the ball like prime Barcelona and pass them to death?

We did exactly what we should have done to start the game, weather there storm at the start and score a goal on the counter.

The game was decided by 1 thing and 1 thing only.

The red cost us the game. We deserved to go through. After going up 1-0 we should have been more cautious instead of playing such a high line against that front three. Thats what led to the first goal. Poor judgement from Araujo aswell.
