Completely missing the fact that she offered this info up knowing how it would sound. That actually makes the rest of what she says far more believable. Unless you think she's smart enough to concoct this lie about Alves, to lie to a court and face expensive criminal defense lawyers grilling her on every detail but too dumb to offer information like he had already touched me on the dancefloor and I still followed him.
They didn't convict solely based on that. The three judges said it had been proven Alves “grabbed hold of the victim, threw her on the ground and prevented her from moving while he penetrated her, despite her saying ‘no’ and insisting she wanted to leave.”
All evidence hasn't been released to the public, that's all you've got to remember.
