You are making too many excuses, mate. Yeah Frankfurt won in Munich 2-1 but it was mainly luck as Bayern dominated the match but Trapp was incredible, i just checked the stats: 20 shots from Bayern and 5 from Frankfurt while in Camp Nou 15 shots from Frankfurt and 10 shots from Barca. Especially over 2 games Barca needs to win against Frankfurt.

Lol, I'm not comparing Barca with that Bayern. Frankfurt were a good team that season. That's pretty obvious.

Point is we weren't the same team that were 9th as you exclaimed.

Actually got a decent result away and should have progressed iirc. Instead found ourselves 3-0 down after 70 minutes. Didn't change or bring on another striker until we went 3-0 down, you know things that have proven to be usual Xavi things.

Frankfurt were midtable but decent that year in Europe. Though they didn't really get any top teams on their way to Europa League winners. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I bet they didn't even score 3 in an away game in Europe that year apart from against us.

Let's not even talk about the ticketing issue. The socios didn't give two fucks about Europa league... as they made it abundantly clear.

Played 2 away games vs them.

So? It is 2 games. Not a league season.

Half the Bundesliga could have taken that Barca out in that season. Frakfurt, Dortmund, Leipzig, Gladbach, Leverkusen, and 2-3 others most likely.

Anyway, it is unlikely a new manager is gonna take over a Barca team in such a shit situation midseason as Xavi did anytime soon... so it's like comparing apples vs oranges.

Completely useless conversation.

Bro you said Serie a > Bundesliga but half the Bundesliga would have beaten a team which finished on the second place in ll?? ....

He talks like he's still the long term manager rather than leaving in a few months.
Call me crazy but I think if results go well from here he is going to attempt to stay/reverse his decision.

We are keeping this guy as manager to do what exactly? Get some experience for his next job?

Season is over, we play the same shit and heavily depend on opponents not finishing their chances.

At least with an interim on the bench I can understand our position. But Xavi not getting fired and still keeping his job for when he decides to leave is lunacy from that obese idiot Laporta.

Does he ever even talk about football? Everytime he is in a conference he talks about everything except football. Refs, grass, barca fans being unfair, how he did well in the past yadayadayada.. everything except what actually happens in matches . Can't wait for Xavi to be gone because I want him to stay in the image of the legendary barca player.

He doesnt want to leave.. he just threw toys out of pram and manouvered to take decision away from the board for now.

Said it already finish strongly in league or CL and fair chance he stays.

Probably regrets the outburst and wants to get back with his girlfrie... err... where was I again?

Anyways. Pressure is off for a bit. Let's see if we can get a run of wins now and get the setup right for the CL.

Girona seem to be hitting the breaks abit so should be able to salvage 2nd in LaLiga too.
