Arsenal

Might be because Wenger won't give him any rest, and he was used to the winter break back in Malaga. All this football is taking its toll.

Generally speaking he hasn't been the same since the November international break (last game being West Ham). His performance, his body language... he talks more about Spain's national team than he does Arsenal!

Doesn't help he doesn't really have any world-class players alongside him, besides maybe Artreta. Wilshere is too young, as is Ox, Podolski and Walcott are really inconsistent, and Giroud doesn't combine much with Cazorla. He needs a game, preferably two games rest, during which Arsenal can play Rosicky-Wilshere-Artreta, with Arshavin as a sub. Or they could actually get some players in the transfer window.

Who do you guys think Arsenal should get? There's a lot of Spanish players out there who probably wouldn't cost too much; Beñat, Adrian Lopez, Camacho, Rodrigo Moreno...
Right up Wenger's alley in other words.

No more midfielders, to begin with. We need anybody at all who can score. Demba Ba would have been great, but of course he's going to a richer club.

Wenger was complaining about Wilshere being called up for an England game, saying he wanted to give him a rest and see how his rehabilitation reacted. Yeah, right. He'll play that same midfield until one of them is injured. Wilshere shouldn't be playing so many games after his injury (which was caused by overplaying in the first place), and neither should Cazorla while he's still acclimatising to the physicality of the league. I would not be surprised if the latter faded like Silva did for City.

No more midfielders? Cazorla looks exhausted, Wilshere shouldn't play this many games coming back from injury, Artreta is the only DM the club has (Diaby doesn't count because he can't stay healthy). Those three and Rosicky are the only good midfielders Arsenal has. They definitely need more depth.

Cazorla's been so inconsistent. He's Spanish, I thought they're world class or something.

He's in a free attacking midfield role, similar to the role Fabregas had. He's nothing like Fabregas, Fabregas was phenomenal and can make killer passes and create chances even if he was thinking of sex. Cazorla's done nothing of the sort.

WTF? You have no idea what you're talking about. Besides, the whole team is playing like shit. stop looking for scapegoats

Some people support clubs, and some people support players. That kind of hero worship shouldn't even be for players who left us in their prime. Henry, Bergkamp? Yes. Cesc? Just another guy who played for us once.

That's because Fabregas is simply better than Cazorla. In Barcaforum though, Cazorla >>>>>>>> Fabregas.

Absolutely pathetic. No balance whatsoever.

This midfield has been dominated by some of the most average midfielders in the league, absolute embarrassment

Midfield is too weak and can't hold the ball for long enough periods and so we get dominated.

We NEED an enforcer or we will go to away games and get absolutely dominated in midfield.

What about Ramsey? Coquelin? Oh, wait, you did say "good" midfielders. Well, the Ox can play in the midfield in a pinch. That's makes the midfield less urgent than the attack.

You're not being fair to Cazorla. Cesc was with us since he was 16, knew the club inside out, and had the team built around him. He spent nearly a decade learning from Wenger, and speaks English as well as the locals.

Cazorla came straight from Spain and is expected to do in 4 months what Cesc did in 8 years? And with a team full of new signings too? Cesc had RVP and Adebayor to pass to. Giroud and Podolski haven't even been here for 4 months yet.
