We didn't stop him having chances, that's what I've said. If he didn't score from those chances or scored less than he should have wasn't because we stopped him.

Yes, most of the first leg result was heavily influenced by Donnarumma dropping some blunders. Already said that we dominated 1 half of football over the two legs.

Araujo seeing red = we were nearly winning CL. Donnarumma gifting us goals = we were clearly the better team, brah.

Get off Xavi's dick for a second and use your brain.

So we should stop the best player in the would from having chances at goal? He had few and far between in the game, period

If you think donnarumma gifted us goals, then no debate to really have there and in no way comparable to the red by Araujo

That's just fucking stupid honestly, no disrespect but it's just plain dumb.

You're just wrong, deal with it and move on and be happy we got the red and got eliminated, because that's the kinda fan you are, rather see us lose.

Played PSG man up, better or equal to them, these are the facts of the game.

"I believe quality always shines through and we have been poor all season and that's why we dropped out".

Because durtmond and Bayern have been High quality this season and that's why they are in the SF of a K.O competition.

Oh wait..

Fuck outta here with that dumb shit.

A FC Barcelona "fan" that's likes to see his team lose and nitpick at every win.

If Xavi continues his "form" from the Atlético Madrid match and first leg PSG into next season we'll be alright. I just hope he learns from some of his biggest mistakes, or it's going to be a loooooong next season. Second place LL and one step further in CL and I'm happy next season - but season after next season we have to really start cooking, back at a fresh Camp Nou :barcascarf:

Nah, we should go for the title. Our playstyle still favours us in LaLiga. And I'm sure we can win it, Mbappe or not, if our best players aren't injured again for half a season.
And the fresh Camp Nou could take a bit longer than that. I expect the works to finish in summer 26.

The question is what was the real reason why we were suddenly better in this period? Was it Xavi's resignation announcement? Was it MaTs comeback? Was it Christensen?

What's the issue here exactly? Multiple things can be true at once.
Donaruma did cost them in the first leg and was one of the reasons we won, Arujo was the major reason we ended up going out...
We did limit Mbappe's chances but he still did have chances (similar to the Dortmund game).

What makes you think any fan would be happy going out when we had one of the easiest runs to the final - similar to us failing last year.

IMO we are a better team than PSG and should of reached the final even with our mediocre manager.

Some people actually think we did good the CL is the most hilarious thing ever.

Willingly forgetting that for the first time since ages we had the easiest path to the final and we blew it ( no RM no Bayern no City, not one serious team in our path and we blew it).

Keep up this double standard and will end up like ManU, still rebuilding for the next 20+years

Yea two things can be true at the same time. But in this case he's just talking none sense.

To say Mbappe had chances is to ignore the excellent job the defense did on him XI vs XI, you're not gonna stop the best player in the world from having chances, on balance the defense got the better of Mbappe and it's not even close.

I doubt Mbappe had mats making 2 great saves if memory serves me right.

We scored 4 goals against PSG should have scored 5 and all were created by the team, he didn't score a own goal or some dumb shit like mats did on the in our last game, even the pedri goal, yes it came from the goal keeper playing a bad pass, but it still needed a excellent run and WC pass.

80% of chances is created by the opposition turning over the ball in there half

Malvolio just always nitpicks at every result, even when we play well, it pains him and a few others to simply give credits were credit it due.

Yes he is the type of fan that would rather see us lose,if we aren't playing pep 09-11 football.

When PSG came back in the first leg, the comments in the match trend speak for themselves.

The self-entitlement is unreal.

He says we'll end up like ManU, when our last big title was less than a year ago, while they haven't won any in 12 years.

I sometimes wonder what would these posters consider a good season in CL for a team in our situation just to have a good healthy laugh. Bet they would answer a final is acceptable.

Months ago they were saying how crap Real Madrid are. True, this is the level of football knowledge around here.

Well, you were the one who said we kept him quiet. Period is what you're on this time of the month.

Dortmund won the strongest group this season, ahead of PSG. They then got past Atletico. Bayern you could have a case for them as having a similar season to Barca. Then again, looking at how they play and the players + manager they have, I got no doubt they would crush us in a tie.

Sure for Xavi stans it appears we were at the edge of greatness this season. In truth we played shit in most matches and were never near a trophy.

Yep ManU vibes right there.

Your parallel doesn't make one iota of sense. United invested over 1 billion since SAF retired and won 0 big titles in 12 years. While we already won a big title 1-2 years into our rebuild, and that while working with a strict budget due to FFP issues.

2020 was the year we started rebuilding imo. Others may disagree but when we got brutalised by Bayern, and considering the earlier chokes changes were finally made.
Since then, we won a Spanish Super cup, Copa and league title. On paper it looks OK but Copa was won under Koeman and league title was alot of shit football and Madrid stumbling.
All the Xavi fans are going to get what they deserve. Another shit fest next season with the usual Xavi fan boys gaslighting others and making excuses for their hero. If things get real dire we will be treated to the appointment of Rafa Marquez. In other words more of the same. Either Laporta is a coward or he is delusional but continuing to tread the path of Barca DNA seems to be insanity at this point. Instead of hitting the reset button and giving a world class coach an opportunity we'd rather squander time and money on Xavi and unknowns like Roque. This club is an absolute train wreck.

When will you stop crying and start supporting RM already?
