If Puig returns to Europe, to be effective, he's going to have to be able to be creative in tighter spaces (a la De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva, when they are camped outside the opponent's box, trying to find an opening). Puig is capable of it.

Barca, Arsenal, Girona, would be good clubs for him. City's play's too boring for him now.

Classy smart goal today by Puig. Most players would have just slammed the ball into the defenders. Very clever control and turn.

Whatever his faults, this is why Barca fans loved watching him play. He's entertaining. Dunno, maybe there's no place for him in the modern European game, but I'd rather watch moments like these than the tedious uninspired grinds we've been watching the past few years.

he needs to come back to Europe. He could easily dominate a league like Eredivisie.

Don't think he has any ambition of that.

He just wants to play football and have fun and be rich and hang out with hot girls. Good for him and probably why he got kicked to the curb with his reported partying problems with Pique and decided to go to LA.

Neymar had "partying problems" too while he played for Barca. Doesn't align with gimpball for sure.

Neymar was one of the best players in the World, and didn't get wasted at private clubs every other weekend.

Riqui Puig is playing for LA Galaxy as a 24 year old.

If Riqui had any ambition of getting back to Barca or becoming an elite player himself he wouldn't have fucked off to the USA.

You're welcome
I think Puig has been advised by many parties to make the step. Otherwise don’t think he would have gone. I think he has been told he falls short for European top by data scientists. Multiple coaches didn’t want to play him and did we ever get serious offers for him from clubs?

Available for free transfer yet none of the good teams in Europe were interested in this "top 10 mf itw".

Very strange.
