Xavi > Arteta. Without a doubt.

You realize this would put him top 5 in the world or thereabouts? You rate him that highly? I am a pretty big Xavi fan but I wouldn't put him ahead of Arteta just yet.

If he gets a CL final next to his Championship from last season... that would do it probably. Long way out still imo.

What has Arteta really done so far???

But it’s Pep+Klopp and then a large group of aspiring managers behind them. Xavi‘s not far from leading the pack depending on CL this season. As is Arteta.

If you put it like that, he got close to do something important but didn't do it so far. Still has things to improve.

I agree that the hype of the EPL might make people overrate how good Arteta is at this moment.

Nice way to say Arsenal imploded last year and this one is close to ending very disappointing as welll.

Yes, but it is a tough league to win. So, there's that. You factor that in imo. Not as much as to say a 4-8th finish is very nice, that's still supbar performance for a big club, but winning it is quite difficult.

Not like they imploded vs the best. You lose 0-2 against Aston Villa at home? That’s just bad as a title candidate. And their run last year was hilariously bad.

That being said let’s wait how the CL turns out.

Embarrassing behaviour from Madueke who wanted to shoot the pen but Palmer who had already 3 goals was obsessed to shoot the pen (Palmer has right though because Poch said he is the first one to shoot them)

That's what Ronaldo critisiced, the young guys don't have the humbleness like the older players had when they were young, too egoistic everyone!

to be fair Arteta needs to compete with Pep and Klopp

i will be more excited to see Arsenal in cl, normally they should beat this version of Bayern
