According to Sport, Barcelona have lined up Szoboszlai of Red Bull Salzburg as a potential transfer to replace Rakitic. He is linked also with Arsenal and Liverpool.

I don't think he defends a lot, but his dead balls are deadly.

He is nowhere close to Rakitic in terms of similarity, but still worth a try if we can get him cheap.

The Salzburg-Leipzig connection is remarkably good. I wonder when this'll become regular for top clubs.

Sure Chelsea have had Vitesse and City-Girona in a smaller scale. But it hasn't provided many useful players.
I believe there's a gold mine of potential if it's possible to find a sort of submissive team that gladly develop good young players while also competing.

The Barca - Barca B in Segunda connection has always seemed good but the truth is the jump is too big.
I know it's very hard in practice and it kind of ruins the developing team's ambitions. But it's not impossible.

The relationship between us and Ajax can't be compared to Salzburg - Lepzig or Chelsea - Vitesse, it would have been a huge insult to Ajax and Ajax fans if we did. If anything, we are the brainchild of Ajax (via Michels and Cruyff) in a way, not the other way around.

Because of our shared history we have had good relationship with Ajax and that is very important (considering that we have burnt many bridges with many clubs under Bartomeu's reign), it definitely helped us secure Dest, when Bayern had reached a personal deal with Dest but Ajax refused to commit.

I like this guy alot. Perfect modern day midfielder . I'd happily sell Pedri or Gavi or even both to get this guy. Imagine we sell Pedri and Gavi and get Neves,Gundo, Amrabat and this guy. Operation would be worth it.
