I've been a fan since those CL games with Arsenal in the late 90's, and yeah, I know how it's like to be grateful that Barca gets to 4th place in the last league round and qualifies for CL, how it's like to get outclassed by Kahveci's Sociedad and be an underdog in a lot of matches, however, I don't really understand this logic you employ here. I see it often elsewhere as well. Are people not supposed to get spoiled after supporting the club during some pretty dark times and then seeing it raise as the most dominant team, probably in the entire history of football? Or to rephrase, are people not supposed to have greater expectations than barely reaching 4th position, after being feared by everyone for so long?
I'd say it's only natural, and no, I'm not defending the general fanbase here, there's a lot of retards out there that never would've even looked at Barca if it wasn't for Dinho and Messi and that are completely clueless, but it's definitely normal to be resentful of the state the club finds itself at the moment, after being so high up, especially when you consider how easily it could've been avoided, if only we weren't lead by a complete bunch of corrupt degenerates, aided by equally degenerate minions like Valverde.

Before the match I watched Leicester first half (I had a bet on it) and saw number 2, Justin. He played as a RB, FB, he looked like 10x player Dest is or even better than prime Alves. The same goes for Maddison, FDJ can hide.
But of course that is not true. The system works. The system means FB's have a specific and simple role. Run up and down, pump the ball, simple things. They have bodies ATTACKING the box, not just standing there covered easily by defenders. They don't get ball to the feet surrounded by 2 or more players, they all move as a unit. Just basic football, nothing more. We lack even those basics, we don't utilize fast players, we don't attack the box, we don't move, we are the only team that looks like it can not break opposition defense as they always have 10 players behind the ball and need to move easily to block our non movement game. Our players only move when they have the ball, and even, in those suuuuper rare occasions, when one player tries to make a run he is ignored.
So it's not important currently is it 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, we lack basic things.

Going on for a minimum 2-3 years since the team started to be built and trained around the amigos. Messi's form in 2018-19 meant we were still strong despite many problems. After he started to put in mediocre performances (last year basically), there is not much left and the problems got even bigger.

MD claiming that Barca played 4-1-4-1 for the most part against Levante, with Busi as pivot and Frenkie advanced. Something which confirms my observation from the first half.
I think 4-1-4-1 can solve some problems especially with the lack of width:
If two of Messi, Griezman, Coutinho occupy the central positions of the attacking midfield, and then two players like Ansu and Dembele that can dribble and penetrate occupy the winger positions, with a striker (Braithwaite now, Depay maybe soon) staying high up the pitch and stretching it vertically, breaking down parked buses will be easier.
Frenkie has to play the pivot position though, instead of Busi

The only 2 managers I've seen playing a 4-1-4-1 regularly are Pep (with Xabi Alonso at Bayern) and Bielsa. If Koeman tries that vs a decent team he'll get burned before he knows what happened.
