I dont know if Valverde could win it or not but he would had far more chances than Setien. He actually knew players well, something Setien didn't.
After Covid, Barca led with 2 points difference then the team failed. Nothing to do with Madrid since the loss at Bernabeu was before Covid.

if Ernesto does well at Arsenal, I bet forum de amigos will start claiming Arsenal has one of the best squads in the world and that any manager could succeed with Xhaka, Bellerin, and Luiz.

If he does well with them, I'll throw in the towel. However I'm fully expecting him to be slightly better or just the same as Arteta. Arsenal's season has been a disaster so with all due respect it's not a huge achievement to do slightly better than Arteta.

if EV goes there arsenal might have a good 5-7 games, as is usually the case when teams change managers. it happened with emery, whom i rate higher than ev, and it happened with Solskjaer (whom i do not). but believe me, you give EV 12-15 games at arsenal it will show just how bad he is.

and? he lost 4-0 at rome and 4-0 at liverpool. hes a complete failure. and this is WITH messi. lol, if he has bellerin and co to work with...arsenal fan tv will make millions just cussing at useless EV

Argument can be made that Messi was at better shape and form under EV.
I mean if people attribute every player failure to him, then should not player who looked at his sharpest and then underperform immediately after he leaves be attributed to him too?
